Experience Life From Another Vantage Point
In an effort to further its goal to encourage understanding,
empathy and acceptance toward people with special needs, the Sensitivity
Awareness Workshop will host a fundraising
luncheon at The Shell Factory and Nature Park in North Fort Myers
on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 11:30am. Honorary Chairs for the
event are local business owners Tom and Pam Cronin.
In addition to the opportunity to bid on fabulous
items in a live auction, guests will experience life with a disability
through a special luncheon presentation of the uniquely interactive
Sensitivity Awareness Workshop. The non-profit Workshop employs
custom-made props and meticulously designed exercises to mimic
the auditory, visual, physical and learning diabilities many people
experience every day.
Reservations are required for the event and can
be made by calling 239.466.6344. Luncheon price is $40.
The Sensitivity Awareness Workshop carries its fun
and functional learning experience to area schools, businesses
and civic groups. For more information on bringing this life-changing
workshop to your workplace or group, please call 239.466.6344.
