The Sensitivity Awareness Workshop of Southwest Florida brought
its hands-on interactive Program to all of the third, fourth and
fifth-grade students at Edison Park Elementary in Fort Myers recently.
The Program was made possible by
a grant from the Southwest Florida Community Foundation.
Carol McLaughlin of the Southwest Florida Community
Foundation
came out to visit Lisa Cronin Miller, President of Sensitivity
Awareness Workshop and watch as students learn about their
peers with physical, mental and learning disabilities.
Jo Wager, a teacher with Florida Virtual School,
came out to be with the students.
