Skills for Working with People with Disabilities
Lisa Cronin Miller, Sensitivity Awareness Workshop of Southwest Florida, Inc.

The purpose of the Sensitivity Awareness Workshop of Southwest Florida, Inc. is to educate individuals about people who have physical, mental or learning disabilities through a hands-on, interactive program. This Workshop offers organizations a comprehensive program that fosters understanding and a sincere sense of compassion and empathy towards those with disabilities.

The next phase will require the participants to actually “step inside the shoes” of someone with a physical, mental and learning disability. This approach is ‘hands-on’ and provides an interactive learning environment that allows the individual to participate.
